Sean Overin, BHK, MPT

From an early age, Sean has always enjoyed being physically active and learning about human science, which first inspired him to study and obtain a Bachelors of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia (UBC). On a journey for more knowledge, Sean went on to complete a Masters of Physical Therapy from UBC and then embarked a Post Graduate MSK Program with the Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professionals. In addition, Sean has his Certificate in Anatomical Acupuncture.

In clinic, Sean facilitates an educational, evidence-based, and client-centered experience treating a variety of conditions with a diverse set of manual therapy and exercise interventions. Always psychologically informed. He has special interests in pain science, neck and low back disorders, headaches, sleep, and upper extremity conditions. In addition to clinical practice, Sean enjoys discussing, teaching, and challenging current practice trends based on the best available evidence. To do so, Sean contributes high level discussion to social media platforms on pain and rehab science. He regularly teaches and writes about his favorite topics, and mentors clinicians and students on a regular basis.

Beyond the exciting world of physiotherapy, you can find Sean mountain biking on the trails of the North Shore to Squamish, at the gym or in yoga. He also enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
